Diet Plans to Lose 5 Pounds in Five Days
Your school friends have planned a surprise party for you, and you have to attend the party next week itself. Only seven days are left and you want to lose at least 5 pounds. The following 'five pounds diet plan' may help you in this task.
- According to this weight loss diet plan, you can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner, but as per the following list. You cannot substitute any of the food items in the diet plan, which involves oranges, milk, eggs, soup and unsweetened coffee or tea.
- Your breakfast consists of non-fat milk (six ounces), half a cup of orange sections, and tea/or coffee (unsweetened). The oranges should be medium-sized.
- You can have one cup of thin soup (chicken or beef), one scrambled egg, one orange and unsweetened tea or coffee for the lunch. Scrambled eggs should be prepared without using oil.
- For dinner, you are allowed to have two eggs scrambled, one orange, six ounce of tomato juice, one cup lettuce and cucumber salad with vinegar dressing and unsweetened tea or coffee.
You can also try the popular master cleanse diet, which is otherwise known as 'Beyonce Knowles Diet' or 'Lemon Detox Diet' or 'Maple Syrup Diet'. Apart from weight loss, it is also claimed that this diet plan can help you to detox your body. Master cleanse diet involves only a liquid diet for a period of around five to seven days, and the dieter is not allowed to consume any solid food during that period. At least twelve glasses of the drink should be consumed daily for a fast weight loss. In order to make one serving of the drink, you have to mix 10 ounces filtered water with two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, two tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup, and 1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper. You must stick to this liquid diet for the stipulated period without having any solid food. As in the case of any diet plan, you have to consult your doctor and dietitian before adopting this master cleanse diet, and those with any health problems should not adopt this diet plan.
If you are not interested in any weight loss diets, you can cut down the calorie intake as per the instructions of your dietitian and start some rigorous exercise regimen. Drink lots of water, preferably 2 to 4 liters per day, and avoid salted, spicy, fried and sugary stuff. Cut out junk food and soda. Include more raw fruits and vegetable into your diet, and have five to six small meals per day instead of three heavy meals.
