My Blood Transfusion

Celebrating Easter, 2017.
I had a disease that almost claimed my life;
My blood was infected with a virus.
I was told its name is SIN.
So, I needed blood;
A blood transfusion to be saved.

My blood transfusion took place on the cross,
The cross was my bed,
And Calvary my clinic,
His ransomed blood resuscitated me,
Now, I'm alive to live forever.

Jesus stepped in as a Blood Donor for me,
He was in pain, hurting in submission,
'Cos He felt I am worth it;
He gave up His blood for me,
Just so that I may have life.

My blood transfusion took place on the cross,
The cross was my bed,
And Calvary my clinic,
His ransomed blood resuscitated me,
Now, I'm alive to live forever.

I went all out to check on this Blood Donor,
And I was told He had died while saving me,
He had bled and suffered,
That He could not survive,
My Savior died while saving me.

My blood transfusion took place on the cross,
The cross was my bed,
And Calvary my clinic,
His ransomed blood resuscitated me,
Now, I'm alive to live forever.

But after three days my Savior died,
He rose again from the grave and mocked death,
My Savior ascended even,
When without Blood,
For He shed them all for me.

My blood transfusion took place on the cross,
The cross was my bed,
And Calvary my clinic,
His ransomed blood resuscitated me,
Now, I'm alive to live forever.
