My Pride, My Lost

When love stares right at your face, spend a moment and consider it, lest you lose a precious pearl.
Deep in her eyes I saw it,
It showed right in her voice,
Her heartbeat was singing it,
And her actions danced to it.

But I played deaf and blind,
I acted I didn't care,
I was so busy to give attention,
And laughed when she confessed her feeling.

I just realized what I have lost,
I just saw the pearl I've thrown out,
My pride cost more than expected,
She's gone and gone for good.

I only wish her the best of luck,
A hope to find someone like you,
I hope to make things right this time,
And I'll bury my pride and walk a new path.
