One should be careful not to add sugar to it as sugar helps in fungal overgrowth. You can dip cotton bud in plain yogurt and apply it to the affected area, 2-3 times day to get relief from itching.
Garlic is used as a natural remedy for various purposes for its anti fungal and anti bacterial properties. One should not substitute white vinegar for the same, nor apply apple cider vinegar directly to the affected area.

Boric acid and hydrogen peroxide are also recommended by some people to treat itching caused due to yeast infection. However, there are certain side effects related to it. According to this diet, one needs to avoid dairy, fermented and sugar containing foods to prevent multiplication of the Candida fungus.
