Interests and Hobbies:
Metaphysics, meditation and gardening. I have taught meditation and philosophy for twenty or so years. I attempted my first garden at the age of three or four. My best friend at the time, Francie Finn, gave me a spoon to dig with. We lived in an apartment building in the Bronx, and the only earth we had access to was under our neighbor's chain link fence - i.e. an inch or two of soil. This small and humble beginning none-the-less firmly imprinted itself on my memory and imagination.
