By Your Side

This poem I wrote, is about a girl who has these strong feelings for a guy and she wants to tell him but she is too afraid to see his reaction.
I don't know how to say this,
But I will do the best I can,
I want you to know that I love you,
And I want you to be my man.

I can't keep hiding these feelings that I have,
Have inside, because if I do that,
Then my heart would be of deprived.

Deprived to be loved by someone who is real,
Someone I know who will one day kneel,
To me with a ring, with one question in mind,
Will you marry me? Will you be my wife?

You make me happy in so many ways,
By the way you kiss me and the things you say,
I know there's so many other dudes in the world,
But I don't want them, I wanna be your girl.

I don't care what no one has to say about you,
This isn't about them, it's about me and you
I hope you listen to what's on my mind,
And give me a chance to show you,
That I'll always be by your side.
