A Perfect Day

This poem is about love's perfection.
Sit down with me here in the sand,
Sit close and hold my hand,
Let the waves ripples cool our feet,
As we watch the crimson sunset.

Let's take a walk along the beach,
And enjoy the cool summer breeze,
As it wafts gently against our skin,
In a splendid moment of time.

Let's look at the beauty of the stars,
Marvel at the wonders of the universe,
As we lay on our backs in the soft grass,
And inhale the scent of summer flowers.

Let's kiss with passion beneath the moon,
Lose ourselves in this moment we've found,
Let's fall asleep where we lay,
The perfect end to a perfect day.
