A Shattered Heart on Valentine's Day

The poem describes itself.
A shattered heart bleeding with tears
Alone in the darkness of love fears
On Valentine, the eagerly awaited day
Without love, without any words to say

A shattered heart with unforgettable pain
Lonesome, feeling either wise or insane
Wending its way through sorrow
Thinking only of death to follow

A shattered heart with memories in mind
Crying, for life was not that sweet and kind
Blaming its pain on nothing nor no one
Looking for a way to finally move on

A loving heart that was innocently shown
A loving heart that was mercilessly torn
