A Thought for the Day: Value Friendship

A life without friends compares to the barren earth, the effete ocean and the desolate woods. They are the strength of the rungs you climb towards progress. They add quality to your life, like the laden clouds . . . .
Friends turn frown into smile,
They meander along with you;
And as you walk an extra mile,
Friends trudge alongside, too.

Today make a promise to keep,
One that dares shade and whip;
Sift chaff and molten gold reap,
In the value of a true friendship.
