Take a friend where you can find one.
On the wall,
The garage wall,
Going to work, it is there,
Coming home, it is there.

It greets me when no one is at home,
What did you do with your day, I ask,
The bug doesn't move or answer,
Talk to you later I say going into the house.

My wife comes home,
Oh, you were all by yourself!
No, not really,
She looks around the kitchen,
I open the door to the garage,
Thanks for being there.

The bug hangs on the wall,
It's there when I go to work the next day,
It's there when I come home,
To an empty house.
