It was a cold night. The clouds blanketed the darkened sky. The stars dazzled like faraway fires a blaze. Almira was late, okay late was an understatement she had never meant to stay long at the party, she just wanted to fit in but then the time had rolled by like a tsunami. Her parents were definitely going to be pissed off.
Almira fast approached the tall rusty gates of the cairn cemetery. The moon shone like a pearl diamond overhead lighting the gloom of the cemetery. She hugged her arms across her chest and began trudging into the unknown.
