Finding God

We all have our Gods, even us atheists.
I'm happy with my lot,
I think,
Not too sure though,
I don't want to make a mistake.
Convince me,
Make me aware,
Make me care.

Convince me that what you say is right,
Otherwise, I may go out of my mind.
I am God,
You are not,
Only I have control over my thoughts.
You revere yourself,
That's your choice.

But why should yours be the only voice?
With your claim of divinity.
It lacks morality!
Who am I to question your ways,
A mere mortal,
In your eyes?
Maybe I'm you....incarnate?
I suppose I am, in a way.

You may be the Lord and Master,
But you exist,
Only in my thoughts.
My ultimate reality,
Can only be me!
Only I have the right to choose,
That's the only way I can find you!
