Go Outside

It's funny all you older people,
Say we don't go out enough,
When were you telling children,
Don't talk to strangers,
When the children who are victims,
Fall victims to those who they 'trust'.

You promise to keep us safe,
By fighting and more,
By fighting against those who want to hurt us,
When it's you who hurt us the most.

You tell us to be disciplined,
Through punishment and pain,
Which causes more suffering,
And all that remains.

Is beaten down children,
And foolish adults,
Scared of the world,
That they said wouldn't hurt.
