Haiku - Sunrise

The breaking of dawn brings back to me the vivid memories of the childhood, when the start of the day was like a new life, with the bells tinkling in the nearby temples, fragrance of incense sticks in the home, prayers of grandpa and chirping of birds. After some months of laziness (of not getting up early), today, I was able to witness the scenic sunrise. A Haiku to capture the silent moments...
Darkness fades into vermilion,
Silence after farewell,
Melodious surroundings,
Blissful peace,
Day breaks darkness, numbness,
Prayer sounds, tinkling bells...
