Heart Has a Home

It has found its way into you.
I was once alone
Once so cold
Until you came and you held me close
I didn't think
I didn't know
But when you came along
I was no longer alone
And now I know how much I see in you
And now I remember all the love I kept for you
I was so blinded with love untrue
I'm sorry I never noticed you

It all makes sense to me
All the pieces seem to match
And I'm pretty sure that
I have found myself my catch
No more time for me to sit all alone
Crying over cold coffee
Because my heart has a home

I no longer hear the sounds
Of lonely violins
Dreary sounds of orchestra
Or blues from big bands
I hear a single harp inside
That plays a melody
That I can listen to
And play continuously

Because I'm fine now
No I feel better fair
Because I'm high now
It's like I'm floating on the air

It all makes sense to me
All the pieces seem to match
And I'm pretty sure that I
Have found myself my catch
No more time for me to sit all alone
Crying over cold coffee
Because my heart has a home...
