I Love you Dad

Something I wrote for my dad.
I don't remember when we used to play,
I don't remember you leaving that day,
I couldn't even tell anyone your age,
I never called you just to say "Hey".

The little things I do remember,
Are the things we did when I was younger,
I remember you taking me to the mall,
I remember you saying "I love you".

I wish that you could see today,
That no matter how far away we may be,
You will always be in my heart,
And I'll always love you them same.

Right now I'm praying for you,
Praying that you will make it another day,
To see that your daughter will always love you,
And never go away.
