Kingdom's Shadow, Our Hero

A birthday poetry dedicated to Evang Kolade Segun-Okeowo.
When an icon celebrates,
The whole world jubilates,
When a father, a day, commemorates,
The child also rejoices and felicitates.

But then, what shall I say?
How shall I register your day?
How shall I, my references pay?
Just to mark this combatant and Gospel thespian's birthday.

Several wishes, several prayers,
Several greetings to meet your desires,
Several messages through your cell wires,
To give you that smile which happiness hires.

Everywhere, we feel your shadow,
On the hill and in the meadow,
Impacting every bone and marrow,
With your dramatic sword and political arrow.

Sliding down my own very marrow,
Are my delicacies of Birthday wishes for our HERO!
