More Than A Poet

People say I'm a poet, a lover and a husband... But I'm more than that.
When I write a poem,
I feel I'm a romantic poet,
At the big dome,
So happy to show it!

And yes! I love my wife,
She is the apple of my eye,
I don't want to see her cry,
For it cuts me like a knife.

From the start,
She is everything to me,
And she holds the key,
To my heart.

Some people don't understand,
Why I'm so faithful and in love,
Because this is where I stand,
And something I should be proud of.

Whoever calls me a poet,
I'm more than just a poet,
As long as, in my heart, there's love,
I choose to rise above.
