My Corner of Hell

Just overwhelmed by a lot... need to express it.
In my quiet corner of hell,
I lay encapsulated in my shell,
Drowning in despair and pain,
Wonder, if I should try again.

Alone, surrounded by those who care,
Yet all I do is sit and stare,
Unheeded tears fall from my eyes,
Whispered words covered by sighs.

I have nothing left with which to fight,
Ahead is only endless night,
So tired now, so full deeply sad,
If I live, I will go mad.
