Never Say Goodbye

This poem is dedicated to my co-staff nurse Sister Laila, a hardworking nurse in Chest Diseases Hospital, Ministry of Health, Kuwait, who has her complete retirement from work today.
This is not a final goodbye,
To a friend who is leaving,
But this is just a new beginning,
Of something more beautiful to happen.

Wherever your paths will lead you,
We are all lucky to have you,
You're a friend, a mother, and a sister,
Who teaches us to love one another.

Sister Laila, we all love you,
We'll remember our togetherness,
Your sweetness and kindness,
We'll miss a wonderful friend like you.

You are leaving us with love and joy,
You are leaving us lasting memories,
That we will surely enjoy,
And remember for centuries.
