No Longer Cry

A short sweet ode to a friends woe.
Alas dear friend you're love has died,
I'll help you dry the tears you cry,
Do not dwell on the love you've lost,
I'll soothe your soul and I'll mend your heart.

The wind blows cold against your skin,
But in my arms you'll feel warm again,
Lay your pretty head next to me,
Go to sleep and dream sweet dreams.

Soon your future will look bright,
And your hopes will once more come alive,
One day we'll look back on this time,
And we'll no longer cry.
