Personal Myth Or True Happening?

If ever, these two great warriors face each other, who do you think will win? It is believed to be the greatest battle of the century in boxing.
Every time I write something about a boxer, he always ends up losing the competition. For instance, on Dec. 8, 2012, the epic battle between the great fighters Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez, and I was cheering up for my favorite boxer Pacman. Hence, I wrote a poem for him.

Manny Pacquiao

As a young boy,
He lived in extreme poverty,
And worked as a construction boy.
Even though there were no foods to offer,
On the table and being a boxer,
Was the only way to feed his family,
He never lost his faith in God Almighty.
Not a single day, he missed to pray,
Until one day,
He discovered his special gifts.

In the sport of boxing today,
He's a pound-for-pound king.
Within the ring,
People called him "The Beast,"
'Cause many boxing legends had tried their best,
As they'd promised to defeat "The Beast."
But none of them came to close.
By his powerful hands and blind speeds,
They'd suffered the shocking loss.

Manny Pacquiao is an all-time-great,
A philanthropist,
"The Nation's Fist,"
"The Fighting Pride of the Philippines,"
"The Fighting Congressman,"
The "Pac-Man,"
"The Mexicutioner,"
"The Destroyer,"
An actor,
A singer,
A prizefighter,
A "Fighter of the Decade,"
And an eight-division world champion.
He is my pride!

Many people were expecting during the fight that Manny Pacquiao would easily dispose Juan Manuel Marquez by a few rounds. I was one of those who believed that a sure victory by Pacman was at hand. However, to my big surprise and millions of fans around the globe who were watching that time the main event in boxing, Marquez defeated Pacquiao by knockout with one second remaining in the sixth round. After that, I heard a lot of people were saying, it was a "lucky punch" that hit the boxing hero in the Philippines. Nevertheless, it was a great feat by the Mexican boxer Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez.

Another instance, on April 27, 2013, the bout between the sport's greatest rising superstars, The Filipino "Flash" Nonito Donaire, Jr. and Cuban rival Guillermo Rigondeaux. This time, I thought Nonito Donaire, Jr. would easily dismantle Rigondeaux, as what he did to his previous opponents Jorge Arce, Vic Darchinyan, and many others. However, Rigondeaux defeated Donaire, Jr. by unanimous decision. Again, before that fight against Rigondeaux, I wrote a poem for him.

"The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire, Jr.

I remember when you started,
Your professional boxing career,
You were an underdog and miscalculated,
By a tough and undefeated Armenian boxer.

In a violent and brutal night,
You knocked "The Raging Bull" out,
With a powerful "Flash" punch,
That automatically ended the fight.

I remember how you finished "Cochulito" Montiel,
The boxing fans around the world could tell,
How he'd developed an epileptic attack,
After that payback.

I remember how you bravely fought like a man,
Against Omar Narvaez, Arce, and Nishioka of Japan.
I remember how you easily beat them all.

After all,
You are "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire, Jr.

Now, I'm going to write about Floyd Mayweather, Jr. I know many people want to see him lose. He may be a cocky boxer because he talks too much about his opponents. I believe it is just a hype for him to convince people to watch his fight. I believe no one can beat Floyd Mayweather, Jr. except Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. That's for sure. You can defeat him by power by power and speed by speed. Those criteria go to Manny Pacquiao alone. Even if you put rising boxing superstars in front of him, he will still dominate the sport of boxing without a doubt. We had already seen these things against his rivals Robert Guerrero and Canelo Alvarez. As long as he is not fighting Manny Pacquiao, he knows he is safe. Even Floyd Mayweather, Jr. knows that Pacman is a real threat to him. But I do like him a lot. He is my favorite boxer in the world after Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire, Jr.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

They called me "Money" May,
For I could generate a million bucks a day.
What people don't understand,
I'm the one who is in command.

They want me to suffer loss,
But in the end, I'm still the boss.
They want to humiliate me,
Yet, they can't find the right key.

I am Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
I am the face of boxing and the future...
Anyone who tries to fight with me,
He'll first drink my pee.

Anyway, I want to see Manny Pacquiao win the fight against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Let's hope and see what will happen. I believe that this saga will take place next year. I am excited to see them fight each other, for us to determine who is the greatest boxer in the world today.
