  • 1 cup flour (sifted)
  • ⅓ cup butter
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

In a medium-sized saucepan, mix flour and salt. Use a pastry cutter and prepare butter into small cubes (preferable pea sized pieces). Add these cubes into the flour mixture. Slowly pour milk into the pan, while stirring the flour mixture continuously. To smoothen the paste, knead with your hands for about 2-3 minutes. Put some flour on a rolling surface and rub the flour over it. Place dough and roll out till it is uniformly thick (¼ inch) and large enough to fill your pie pan. Lay dough over a greased pie plate and cut edges to give a proper shape. Bake in the oven till the crust is cooked well.
