I'm sorry that this isn't an actual update to the story, but I have some important news. I need to take a small break on writing Scars and A Daisy.
A close family friend (he was like a brother to me) passed away very suddenly this past weekend and I just don't have the emotional stability right now to be able to write decent chapters.
I'm so sorry - I've always hated when the writers of stories I follow online take breaks, but I can't let myself post crappy chapters just to try to appease readers - you'd rather me be able to write well anyway, right?
If you'd like to leave a comment with your email address, I can send you an email once I've been able to upload the next chapter. (It could be anywhere from a week to months from now before I feel able.)
I'm so sorry to do this to you amazing readers, you have been so supportive of this story, I really do hope you can understand.
If you have any questions or concerns, my email is email@example.com. I do love to hear from my readers, any support from you all would be so helpful!
Here are the comment replies from the most recent chapter:
Zelia - They're people in my mind too! I'm sorry it made you cry! Hopefully I will be able to update happier chapters soon. They are cute, aren't they? Haha.
Chrystina J - Haha, I absolutely love your comments! Don't rip you hair out!! Haha, I promise I'll update as soon as I am able.
Bookluver78 - I'm so sorry to leave it like this right now, especially since you're wanting more! I will update again, as soon as I'm emotionally okay. This sudden loss has really hit me hard, I hope you can understand and stay with me through the upcoming months. I will post again. That is a promise.
To all my silent readers, I love you for your support and I really would love to hear from you. Feel free to email me, support is always welcome! And if any of you have problems, or you need a listener, I'm good at that too. Listening to others/helping give advice helps me feel better, so feel free to plague me with questions and concerns and advice needs. I thrive on helping others. Please message me. I love you all.
