She Dances For Me

Sometimes someone comes along who just clicks into place...
She danced through the fields like a maiden of summer,
I watched as she danced her dance wild and free,
I could almost hear music on the breeze's whisper,
She danced her dance and she danced it for me.

She plucked the flowers and placed them in her hair,
She made a crown and looked like the May Queen,
Such innocent beauty, I was awed by her,
She danced her dance and she danced it for me.

She was the rumor that the trees whispered,
From the tallest mountain to the shores of the sea,
She was the reason that left my heart flustered,
She danced her dance and she danced it for me.

She was the rainbow that crossed the horizon,
To herald the end of the storm that had been,
She chased the storm that had raged so fearsome,
She danced her dance and she danced it for me.

She was the stars and the moon in the night sky,
Flickering brightly to help me to see,
My way through the darkness that I should come by,
She danced her dance and she danced it for me.

She is the dancing aurora borealis,
She is the wonder of which I have dreamed,
She is my peace, my contentment, my bliss,
She keeps on dancing and she dances for me.
