That I May Share Your Burden

A longing to be reunited in death.
Drape me in your darkest dreams,
Break the silence with a scream,
Awake the torment within me,
That I may share your burden.

Open your eyes unto the darkness,
Embrace the shadow that is blackest,
Release the thoughts that scream of madness,
That I may share your burden.

Raise yourself from your sleep,
Let your soul, your spirit seep,
Above that which holds you so deep,
That I may share your burden.

Sail to me on a flimsy wind,
Come hither to the spell again,
That holds for you one final sin,
That I may share your burden.

Kiss me with the coldest lips,
Probe me with your fingertips,
Pull me through your time slip,
That I may share your burden.

Suck away my final breath,
Crown me with your holly wreath,
And bring to me the hand of death,
That I may share your burden.
