The Other Side

I was really mad when I wrote this...
She's so angry,
And so alone,
Nobody understands her,
Nobody knows.

She hides the hurt and sorrow,
Every day of her life,
She puts on a fake smile,
And pretends everything's alright.

She has no friends to speak of,
They're more like associates,
She tries to be friendly,
But soon they all forget.

She tries to be strong,
But sometimes, it just can't be,
She cries in the shower,
And she cries herself to sleep.

But wait, there's just one question...
Who could this sad girl be?
I know it's hard to realize,
But that hopeless girl is me.
