You Spoil Me

If an author can have a favorite of her own work, this is one of mine. Enjoy.
You spoil me, you know,
When you call me,
And you pause,
Just to hear me breathe,
Or my heart skip beats.

When you tell me,
How some girl flirts with you,
Just to see me jealous,
Then make up for it with your beautiful words,
You spoil me, you know.

When you call me,
After a long day,
Just so I can lift you up,
And lavish you with love.

When you tell me,
You love me,
And the conviction in your voice,
Resonates in my ears and melts my heart,
You spoil me, you know.
